Co-Location Services

What is Co-Location? - Co-Location is where you, the customer, provide the server itself, which is housed in our racks. We as the co-location facility are responsible for your power requirements, bandwidth requirements, security, and environmental controls. Co-Location of your own server(s) allows you to host for other companies or individuals, as the limit of websites you can put on your server(s) is only limited to the strength of your server.

What does Co-Location usually cost? - Co-Location of your own equipment usually costs about $200.00 per server space in the rack. Compared to a whole rack at $1000.00, plus power costs, plus bandwidth costs, and you can see how co-location may be a viable option as your business grows.

Your Own Hosting? - Co-Location is a great option if you plan to host websites for other businesses.

Location Location Location - Many Internet Service Providers (ISP's) host their servers at their office locations. They generally have one internet connection coming into their location and simple battery backup systems should the area lose power. Our servers are located in a secure, state-of-the-art Co-Location (CoLo), disaster recovery facility designed specifically for redundant and failsafe internet operations.

This Tier 1, Telco-Grade facility is located on the internet fiber backbone which passes through Las Vegas in route to major West Coast destinations.

This facility also has a 24 hour manned Network Operations Center (NOC) which monitors all internet technology, security and the redundant backup systems. We use an uninterruptible redundant AC and DC power solution with power coming in from two grids and have dual backup generators should we lose power from both grids.

Co-Loaction

Bandwidth (Speed) - It is important to have your page load quickly and be able to handle a high amount of traffic. We have multiple carriers providing bandwidth through multiple OC48 and & OC192 Self healing fiber connections. Tier 1 access with multiple OC48 connections is the highest level of service available for internet hosting. Telco-Grade is a standard that was set for Telecommunication companies which has become a regulation for telco companies using internet facilities like the one we host our servers at. What does all of this mean? A T-1 can communicate at 1.54 mb per second, a T-3 at 45mb per second and an OC48 at 192mb per second. With multiple OC48's, this is as good as it gets for speed and bandwidth size! 99.999% of the time, there will never be any delays or interruptions with your service.

Customer Support - In addition to the 24 hour NOC onsite, our staff is available to assist you with all of your needs locally. We do not outsource our customer service overseas.
